The free game stays free forever. The Family plan is for parents who want to go further: see real progress, and give each child specific help instead of generic drills.
What it includes
- Unlimited play, no daily cap.
- A progress dashboard, see each child's speed and accuracy over time, and exactly which keys and letter-pairs slow them down.
- An AI typing coach, friendly, specific tips based on how your child really types, not generic advice. It reads the patterns in their play and suggests the one or two things that will help most.
- A private family leaderboard, just your household, so siblings can compete without the whole internet.
Built to be safe
- A parent sets up and pays for the account, that is how we confirm a grown-up agreed, the verifiable consent the law asks for.
- We only start saving a child's typing data once a parent has subscribed, and it is used solely to provide the dashboard and coach to your family, never sold, never shared, never used for ads.
- You can delete it at any time. See our privacy summary for the details.
How your kids play
No child accounts, ever. When you subscribe, your family gets its own castle: a private
link like https://typingcastle.com/book2184. You add each player (up to 6, parents count too) and each
gets a 6-digit player code.
- Share the link with each kid, text it, or print the player cards from your Family HQ.
- They open it and type their code. Any computer with a keyboard works.
- That's it. The computer remembers them; next time they just open the site. A lost link is never a dead end, kids can type the castle name at /join.
You see everything on your Family HQ: each child's speed and accuracy over time, the keys that slow them down, and the coach's notes.
